Nigeria U23 international Victor Osimhen is set for a spell on the sidelines, according to reports from the German press.<br /><br />The Wolfsburg attacker did not participate in training on Sunday due to a knee complaint, and will have to see medics in the coming days so as to determine the severity of his injury. <br /><br />The preliminary contract signed by the former Ultimate Strikers poster boy after the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup was activated when the January transfer window opened for business. <br /><br />Wolfsburg paid Ultimate Strikers 3.5 million euros to acquire the ex-Golden Eaglets sensation.<br /><br />Osimhen was operated on in November 2016.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
