Portland Timbers Adi : Nigerians Are Like Brazillians, We Can Do Crazy Things With The Ball

Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi would enter the club&rsquo;s history books on Sunday if he finds the net against New England Revolution at Providence Park in the MLS.<br /><br />Adi has tallied 45 goals since his arrival from FC Copenhagen in 2014, and needs one more goal to break the all-time goals record by a Timbers player.<br /><br />The attacker believes much of his success comes from a love of the game started while playing on the streets in Benue.<br /><br />&ldquo;Nigerians are a little bit like Brazilians &ndash; we play street football a lot, &rdquo; Adi told mlssoccer.com.<br /><br />&ldquo;In street football you just learn from nature because there&rsquo;s nobody coaching you, so you do crazy things with the ball.
