Promising Nigerian Attacker Fela Scores Against Favourite Opponents Liverpool

Promising Nigerian frontman Olufela Olomola registered his name on the scorecard as Southampton were held to a 2-2 draw by Liverpool in a Premier League 2 clash at St Mary's on Monday night.

The former Arsenal youth-teamer slammed home from inside the box on 69 minutes to double the Saints advantage, but two goals from Harry Wilson, the last coming in stoppage time, earned The Reds a share of the spoils.

Liverpool are one of Olomola's favourite opponents, as he netted two goals against the Anfield side on the opening day of the 2016-17 season, back in August.

The London native joined the Saints in 2014 and rose through the ranks before making his first-team debut against Sunderland in the League Cup two years later.

This season, Olomola has made the matchday squad for first team games four times, against Leicester and Chelsea in the Premier League, Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Europa League and Sunderland in the League Cup.
