Four Nigerian Players Feature As Chelsea Are Held By Man Utd In PL 2
Four players of Nigerian descent were in action in the Premier League 2 fixture between Manchester United and Chelsea at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday afternoon.

England U19 stars Fikayo Tomori and Dominic Solanke made the Blues starting XI, the striker’s first game in the league this term, while Ike Ugbo and Manchester United midfielder Tosin Kehinde started on the bench.

Following an injury sustained by Solanke, Ugbo entered into the fray on the half-hour mark, and Kehinde stepped out onto the pitch four minutes later after McTominay was forced off injured.

Manchester United trailed the visitors at half time, when Scott netted from close range, and the scoreboard was not updated until the 85th minute when Joseph Colley scored an own goal.

After the international break, the Red Devils are guests to Manchester City while Chelsea host Tottenham Hotspur in another derby.
