QPR Coach Reveals One Area Of Ebere Eze's Game He Still Needs To Improve
Published: December 08, 2019Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Ebere Eze is enjoying his best goalscoring season as a professional, with his double in yesterday's win against Preston North End taking his tally to 9 goals in 20 starts in the EFL Championship.
Only six players have scored more than the Eze in the English second-tier this season, namely Mitrović (Fulaham, 15 goals), Bowen (Hull City, 14), Watkins (Brentford, 12), Ahearne-Grant (Huddersfield, 11), Fletcher (Sheffield Wednesday, 10) and Grabban (Nottingham Forest, 10).
QPR manager Mark Warburton noted that his number 10 is exceptional with the ball but pointed out that the England U21 international must improve without the ball to be a complete player.
''You see Ebere’s quality with the ball and I want to keep working on his quality without the ball. To play at the very highest level, you have to make sure you have that,'' Warburton told QPR's official webpage.
''He is a talented boy, is playing exceptionally well for us, scoring goals and I hope very much that he is playing with a smile on his face as well.''

Eze, who previously trained with the Super Eagles before becoming provisionally cap-tied to England, has kept the Nigeria Football Federation waiting over a decision on his international future, saying he wants to concentrate on his club career.
