EMMANUEL EMENIKE Travels To Germany For Check Up
Published: November 03, 2012Emmanuel Emenike is in a race against the clock to be fit for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League reverse fixture against Benfica in Lisbon.
The 25 - year - old had to be substituted on Saturday at half time in Spartak Moscow's 5 - 0 spanking of Krylya Sovetov, the team's biggest away victory in 11 years.
According to Sport Express Russia, Emenike is scheduled to travel to Germany in the coming hours so doctors can quickly examine the nature of his back injury.
