Real Salt Lake Midfielder Sunny Replaced After Costly Error Vs Chicago Fire
Former Spain U20 international Sunday Stephen dressed but saw action for only 45 minutes in Real Salt Lake’s 2-0 loss to Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer on Saturday.<br /><br />It is thought that the ex-Valencia ace was replaced by manager Jeff Cassar before the start of the second half as a result of his error that led to the opening goal scored by Chicago Fire.<br /><br />Sunny attempted to dispossess Michael de Leeuw at midfield but hit the ball past his back line and into the path of Nikolic, who slotted the ball past the goalkeeper.<br /><br />In Real Salt Lake’s opening fixture of the season, the Nigerian-born star started and was involved for 78 minutes against Toronto at Rio Tinto Stadium.<br /><br />Sunny represented clubs in Spain, Israel, Bulgaria and Turkey before shifting to Real Salt Lake in 2016.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /><span class="body1">Photo Credit : sltrib.com</span><br />
