The Malta Football Association, MFA, has announced the list of nominees for the 2015 MFA Awards.<br /><br />Only one Nigerian player is in the running to win an accolade at the awards ceremony on Friday in the shape of Augustine James Obaje.<br /><br />The Senglea Athletic FC striker will have to see off competition from Muda Fagbeja (Gharghur) and teammate Thomas Timothy to win the BOV Second Division Best Player award.<br /><br />The 28 - year - old Obaje notched 13 goals in the 2014 - 2015 campaign, which assisted Senglea Athletic to a third - place finish.<br /><br />The former Union Bank player&nbsp; previously represented Galdar , San Andr&eacute;s y Sauces, U D Norte in Spain before joining Valletta in the summer of 2013.<br /><br />Photo Credit : vallettafc.net <br />
