Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has beaten Tottenham Hotspur<span class="">&rsquo;s Anglo-Nigerian midfielder</span> Dele Alli to the Premier League Player of the Month Award for January.<br /><br />Alli was nominated alongside the Argentina national-teamer, Jermain Defoe(Sunderland), Roberto Firmino(Liverpool), Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) and Virgil van Dijk(Southampton) for the award.<br /><br />The 19-year-old Alli was involved in four matches in the EPL last month, and found the net in two away games against Everton and Crystal Palace.<br /><br />Watford frontman Odion Ighalo is the only Nigerian player that has won the Player of the Month award so far this season.<br /><br />Photo Credit : tottenhamhotspur.com<br />
