Showboat king Austin Okocha has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain hall of famer Ronaldinho was his best ever teammate.
Okocha played alongside the former Barcelona attacking midfielder at PSG during the 2001-2002 season, before the Super Eagles legend joined Bolton Wanderers the following season after featuring in his third World Cup.
The two talented players were involved in a combined 35 goals (23 goals, 12 assists) between them for PSG in all competitions in the 2001-2002 campaign.
In an interview reaired on Eurosport two days ago, Okocha explained : "The best teammate that I ever played with is Ronaldinho because when you are playing with someone that is a bit similar like you, you don't need to communicate to understand each other.
"Just looking at each other, you know what to do and for me my best opponent was myself because I always put myself under pressure to do well, to be the best in wherever I am.
"I always believe that I am the only person that can stop myself, and because I also I believed that I had a special talent."
Ronaldinho, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, was awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005.
