Stoke City have set the ball rolling in their bid to sign Peter Odemwingie from English Premier League rivals Cardiff City.<br /><br />The Mirror says the Nigeria international could be used as makeweight in the deal to bring Kenwyne Jones to the Bluebirds.<br /><br />This season in the championship of England, Odemwingie, 32, has managed 1 goal in 15 matches.<br /><br />He still has a contract with Cardiff City until June 30, 2015.<br /><br />Stoke City would be the attacker&rsquo;s sixth club in Europe if the transfer materializes. <br />
