Sunderland manager David Moyes has provided an update on the fitness of Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe.<br /><br />Anichebe has not played for the Black Cats since December 31, 2016 when he suffered a hamstring injury against Burnley in the Premier League, but he is expected to return to full training before the end of this week.<br /><br />&ldquo;Victor&rsquo;s doing some running and there&rsquo;s a chance he can join back in training this week, but he&rsquo;s not joined the team in training to this point, &rdquo; said Moyes to the official website of Sunderland. <br /><br />Prior to his spell on the sidelines, Anichebe was a regular starter for Sunderland, making eight starts in his last nine games.<br /><br />The former Everton frontman has found the net three times in the Premier League this season.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : safc.com<br />
