Super Eagles Better Ranked Than All World Cup & AFCON Qualifiers Foes Apart From Cameroon

Football governing body, Fifa, on Thursday published its latest ranking of National Teams.<br /><br />Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles remain in the 41st position, while they are seventh in the continental ranking.<br /><br />Egypt, Senegal, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Tunisia are the best five teams in Africa in that order.<br /><br />Our other two rivals to book a ticket to the 2018 World Cup - Algeria and Zambia - sit in the 50th and 90th place respectively in the updated ranking.<br /><br />Our main Nations Cup qualifying foes South Africa and Libya occupy the 62nd and 92nd position in the global ranking while the last opponent Seychelles are ranked 187th. <br /><br />Argentina, Brazil and Germany are the top three teams in the world, followed by Chile and Belgium.<br /><br />The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com, on 6 April 2017.&nbsp; <br /><br /><u><b>Top Ten African Teams</b></u><br /><br />1) Egypt <br />2) Senegal<br />3) Cameroon<br />4) Burkina Faso<br />5) Tunisia<br />6) Congo DR<br />7) Nigeria<br />8) Ghana<br />9) Ivory Coast<br />10) Morocco <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
