Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti will not be able to count on the services of Super Eagles playmaker Alex Iwobi when his side tackle Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday.
It is believed that Iwobi has suffered a minor niggle as the Italian football tactician expects his number 17 to be fit for the Premier League meeting with Leicester City three days later.
The former Arsenal star is one of Everton's most utilised players this season, with nineteen appearances under his belt in all competitions and has been deployed in multiple positions including right winger, left winger, left wing-back, right wing-back and fullback.
Providing a fitness update on his his squad during Friday's press conference, Ancelotti said : "We have Dominic available for the game.
"Unfortunately, we have some players out like Gbamin, Allan, Delph, Digne, Iwobi and Nkounkou.
"Iwobi and Digne will be be unavailable for only this game – they will be available for the game against Leicester...."
Iwobi has totaled twelve appearances in the Emirates FA Cup since his debut in the competition, eleven of those in the colours of Arsenal.
