The Nigerian Messi, Ogo Obi, Strikes As Watford Beat Millwall In Friendly
Watford striker Ogo Obi was on target as the Development squad thrashed Millwall 3-0 in a pre-season friendly staged at UCL on Monday. <br /><br />Coach Harry Kewell omitted Ola Adeyemo and Obi from his starting XI, but they both came off the bench in the 60th and 70th minute respectively. <br /><br />Ogo Obi scored the third goal from close-range in the closing minutes , after Matej Vydra had fired the Hornets ahead and Alex Jakubiak had doubled the tally.<br /><br />Last season, he assisted Watford U18s claim top-spot in the Professional Development League 2 South, by scoring eight goals.<br /><br />The teenager, who has been hailed as the <span class="st"><span class="st">“</span></span>Nigerian Messi<span class="st"><span class="st"><span class="st"><span class="st">”</span></span></span></span>, penned a three-year deal, including scholarship forms and a pro deal, with the Vicarage Stadium outfit in 2014, and has not made his competitive debut for the first team. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : watfordfc.com<br />
