Totttenham Hotspur hero Tim Sherwood has praised Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers for introducing Kelechi Iheanacho off the bench in the 62nd minute of Sunday evening's 2-1 win against Everton.
The Nigeria international made the biggest impact when he came on, providing the assist for the equaliser scored by Jamie Vardy before his golden strike in stoppage time which sealed all three points for The Foxes.
Sherwood reckons that Iheanacho caused a lot of problems for the Everton defence due to his pace.
Speaking after the game broadcast by Sky Sports, Sherwood said : ''At the moment Brendan Rodgers anything he does works. He set one up and scored in the last second of the game. He can do nothing wrong.
''He changed the formation as well, he's gone three at the back, he's pushed Iheanacho upfront with Vardy and he's caused a lot of problems - a lot of pace.
''He simply changed three at the back, he pushes all of his team forward and takes Everton back so he knows whoever the personnel are we are going to play the final few minutes of the game in their penalty box and that's what they did''.
Leicester City are currently sitting in second place ahead of their next Premier League match against Watford on Wednesday, December 4.
