According to reporting by the <i>Daily Mail</i>, Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign MK Dons starlet Dele Alli.<br /><br />The Anglo - Nigerian has been linked with a departure from <i>The Dons</i> in the January transfer window, with Newcastle United and Aston Villa also keen on his services. <br /><br />The Magpies were thought to be in pole position to land the signature of the England youth international, but Spurs are hoping to steal a march on their rivals with an offer too good to refuse.<br /><br />Aged 18, Alli has spent the last seven years at MK Dons, progressing through the youth ranks before making his official debut in a goalless draw with Cambridge City in an FA Cup tie back in 2012.<br /><br />He has netted 12 goals in 27 League One appearances so far this season.<br /><br />Photo Credit : mkdons.com<br />
