Paul Aigbogun's team defeated Burundi 2-0 on Saturday to top Group A after hosts South Africa and Niger played out a 1-1 draw.
As the Flying Eagles get set to face the Amajita on Tuesday, Ikpeba bared his mind on Supersport's Monday Night Football.
"It is difficult when it comes to these group stage so they need to win their two games left to qualify for the semifinals and ultimately the World Cup in Poland," Ikpeba stated.
"They shouldn't forget they have South Africa and I hope they will beat South Africa. It will be a cracker. I can't wait to watch that match," the onetime Borussia Dortmund and AS Monaco star added.
The Nigeria versus South Africa game kicks off 4.30pm Nigerian time.
