Ull/Kisa Midfielder, Stanley Ihugba Blames Ahmed Suleiman For Freak Training Ground Injury
Norway based midfielder Stanley Ihugba is pointing his fingers at his compatriot at Ull/Kisa, Ahmed Suleiman, for the injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the past few weeks.<br /><br />One of the first names on manager Tommy Berntsen’s team sheet, Ihugba has not featured for Ull/Kisa since the 1 - 3 loss to Tromso more than a month ago after a training ground accident.<br /><br />“I could not play against HamKam because I had a wrist operation two weeks ago. I got injured during a training session. My teammate called Ahmed Suleiman pushed me from behind,” Ihugba told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />Stanley Ihugba was in the podium on Saturday cheering Ahmed Suleiman, as the forward scored his first hat - trick since he departed his homeland for Norway two year ago.<br /><br />“For me I think Ahmed Suleiman did everything right yesterday.<br /><br />“The first half of the game with HamKam did not go our way, the way we planned it, but the second half was great.<br /><br />“We did not play so good in the first round. Hopefully, in the second that started yesterday, and with the form I saw yesterday, we can change the league table in the next two months coming,” he concluded.<br /><br />If his rehabilitation goes according to plan, Ihugba will resume full training with Ull/Kisa on August 14, 3 days before the meeting with Tromsdalen in the championship.<br />
