<span class="st">Wolverhampton Wanderers netminder Carl Ikeme has flown out of the United Kingdom to join the Nigerian squad ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Egypt.<br /><br />The Sutton Coldfield-born player revealed via <i>Instagram</i> two hours ago that he is about boarding a flight to Africa.<br /><br /></span>&ldquo;Ready to go... ✈️🇳🇬,&rdquo; the Wolves number one said in a brief statement.<br /><br />Carl Ikeme, who had been eligible to represent England, made his maiden appearance for the Super Eagles in an AFCON qualifying match against Tanzania in September 2015.<br /><br />The 29-year-old has spent his entire professional career with Wolves but enjoyed loan spells with Charlton Athletic, Leicester City and Doncaster Rovers among others.<br /><br /><b>Igho Kingsley</b><br /><br /><br />
