Ahmed Musa Leads Player Of The Week Poll
Published: September 22, 2015On the back of his brace and assist against Mordovia Saransk, Ahmed Musa is in contention to be named the Player of the Week in the Russian Premier League for week nine.
Joining the Nigeria national - teamer on the shortlist are strike partner Seydou Doumbia (CSKA Moscow), Kuban shot - stopper Alexander Belém, Zoran Tosic and Kirill Panchenko (CSKA Moscow).
Other nominees include Vladislav Ignatiev and Lorenzo Melgarejo (Kuban), Alexander Selikhov (Amkar Perm), Vyacheslav Podberezkin (Ural), Jose Mauricio (Terek), Baye Oumar Niasse (Lokomotiv Moscow) and Sergei Ryzhikov (Rubin Kazan).
As at Tuesday morning, Ahmed Musa was topping the poll ahead of Ivory Coast international Doumbia.
