Ikpeba Reveals Flying Eagles Strengths & Weaknesses Heading Into The World Cup
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Victor Ikpeba has pinpointed areas the Flying Eagles team coached by Paul Aigbogun needs to work on following the draw on Sunday for the group stage of the tournament to hold May 23 to June 15, 2019 which saw Nigeria paired with Qatar, USA and Ukraine in Group D.

"From what I saw in Niger at the CAF U-20 Nations Cup, the team (Nigeria) have the physicality and athleticism but technically they still have work to do.

"Defensively the team is good but going forward, they need to score goals.

"It's a selling point for these players. The game in the USA have vastly improved. I don't know much about the present Ukraine but if it was the former Soviet Union nations, they were strong.

"From history, the Flying Eagles have always done well. They have reached the final I think twice," the 1997 African Footballer of the Year stated.

Ikpeba further advocated for an early acclimatization of the Flying Eagles in a country close to Poland.
