Nigeria Handed Boost As Manchester United Defender Left Out Of USA Squad
Nigeria have been handed a huge boost in their interest in Manchester United defender, Matthew Olosunde after the youngster was omitted from United States latest international roster for March's friendlies.

The Stars and Stripes manager, Gregg Berhalter has opted to leave out the Red Devils youngster in the squad which battles Ecuador and Chile on 21st and 26th of this month respectively.

The 21-year-old defender who has been dogged by injury problems recently has only played a couple of games this year for the club's U23s since returning to fitness.

He would not have become cap-tied to the USMNT even if he was selected and gets game time as this month's matches are not classed as competitive games.

Olosunde has earned caps at U-17 and U-20 grades for the country and made his debut for the senior team in May 2018 in a friendly versus Bolivia which keeps him eligible to turn out for the African nation in future.
