'I'll Give My 100 Percent If I Play Against Seychelles' - Ndifreke In Eagles Team B Penultimate Workout
Published: March 21, 2019Akwa United fullback Ndifreke Effiong recovered from a minor knee injury just in time for him to report for international duty on Tuesday, March 19.
Although the former Dream Team VI star has not suffered any relapse in the first two days of training, he is unlikely to make his full debut for the Super Eagles on Friday afternoon.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Effiong was part of the Team B during the closed door training session yesterday, which effectively rules him out of the starting XI for the clash against the Pirates, if Gernot Rohr's training methods are anything to go by.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old has vowed to give one hundred percent for the country if he makes his international debut in one of the matches against Seychelles or Egypt.
''I am utility player, I play for Akwa United FC. I am happy to be here in Super Eagles camp and if I am called to play against Seychelles or Egypt, I will give my one hundred percent,'' Effiong said in a video posted by the Nigerian Federation's official Twitter account.
