Bayern Munich Youth Team Product Dazzles In Training, Dad Refuses To Put Pressure On Nigeria U20 Coaches
Published: May 10, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Bayern Munich youth team product, Ikenna Malcolm Ezeala impressed in the Flying Eagles training sessions ahead of the trip to Poland for the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup.
Born to an Austrian mother and Nigerian father, Ikenna Ezeala has represented the Austrians at U16 level which is a testament to his qualities.
Although he wasn't included on the provisional roster for the World Cup, the Flying Eagles coach, Paul Aigbogun decided to invite him to camp after watching him play for his club following the team's arrival in Germany for the training camp.
Ikenna's father, Emeka Ezeala is the agent that arranged the Flying Eagles training camp in Bad Gögging but he has refused to put pressure on the coaches to include his son in the provisional squad, not to talk of taking him to Poland.
Emeka Ezeala only wanted Ikenna to have an opportunity to train with physical African players and it must be said that the pacy winger held his own against the Flying Eagles defenders in camp.
Prior to his switch to FC Memmingen in 2018, the 17-year-old turned out for the youth teams of TSV Milbertshofen, Bayern Munich, FC Ismaning, FC Augsburg and FC Ingolstadt.
