Ahmed Musa's Current Form Shouldn't Trouble Super Eagles Coach Rohr
Published: April 09, 2019The 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nation is set to kickoff in June this year, and many Nigeria players are hoping to make Gernot Rohr's list for the tournament.
The competition for places in the Super Eagles team is heating up and players are doing everything possible to ensure that the gaffer includes their name in his final 23-man list.
Forgotten star Nwakaeme looks rejuvenated as he continue to find the back of the net for Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor.
Simy Nwankwo, who surprisingly made Rohr's World Cup squad last year, is also pushing for a place in the team. He has scored 12 goals for Serie B side Crotone this campaign.
Having seen the intense competition in the team, many Super Eagles supporters expect all of Rohr's trusted men to maintain fine form, but that hasn't been the case with Ahmed Musa.
The Super Eagles vice-captain is far from his deadly form as he has played 20 Saudi Arabian Pro League games with just five goals to show for it.
The Al-Nassr forward is going through a dry spell in front of goal and that isn't a good one for Rohr, who obviously can't do without starting the speedy man.
However, Musa's form shouldn't give Rohr any sleepless night because there are many excellent and speedy wingers, who can replace the former Leicester City man, in the team.

Samuel Kalu, Henry Onyekuru, Samuel Chukwueze are all available for selection, hence, Rohr shouldn't be too concerned about Musa's loss of form.
