U17 AFCON : Manu Garba Changes Starting XI For The Fourth Consecutive Game; Akande, Oluwabusola On The Bench
Published: April 24, 2019Manu Garba has made at least one change to his starting lineup in all the matches at the ongoing U17 Africa Cup of Nations and the trend has continued after unveiling the eleven players that will take to the pitch for Wednesday afternoon's semifinal showdown against Guinea.
Abuja Football College goalkeeper Sunday Stephen will be in goal for the third consecutive game, leaving Suleman Shaibu and Bournemouth's Joseph Oluwabusola on the bench.
Clement Ikenna starts at the heart of defense and he'll be partnered by David Ishaya, with Shedrack Tanko and Ogaga Oduko taking up the full-back positions.
Manu Garba has named a midfield four consisting of Samson Tijani, Akinkunmi Amoo, Fawaz Abdulalhi and Olatomi Olaniya.
The Golden Eaglets coach continues to keep the versatile winger Adrian Akande out of the side despite the fact he has caught the eye in training.
Wisdom Ubani starts in attack along with Ibraheem Jabaar.
